 THE EAGLE SOARS HIGH!!!






One of the biggest events conducted by Sanskrithi School of Engineering,Puttaparthi Vyuha
2018,held on Oct 11 & 12 .


This two day event was conducted by the Department of Civil Engineering  consisted of technical events such as PPTs,model making,eco friendly model making,quizzes and poster making in topics related to Civil Engineering.

The guests for the events included Mr.Mastan Reddy (MD,Hatha Group Bengaluru) Mr.ChandraKiran, (Principal Architect, Architects Associated) and Dr.Ramalinga Reddy (Director & Dean,REVA University).

Addressing the students ,Mr.Mastan Reddy highlighted on the importance of Civil Engineering in
present times and how relevant it is to stay updated with the latest technologies in this particular
field.



Mr.Ramalinga Reddy advised students to hone their communication skills and that real
learning starts after you step out off the college where the theory you learn will be either put to
practise or you may have to learn something totally new.



Post lunch session the events started and the guests walked around the exhibition where the
models were displayed.

Embedded system(IOT) workshop Report – Phase I

A Three-day workshop on Embedded systems (IOT) Phase I was organised by the department of ECE in association with APSSDC in SSE from 5th to 7th October 2018.



EVENT DESCRIPTION:


The ECE department in association with Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation conducted a three days event “Hands On workshop on Embedded Systems (IOT)  fundamentals for basic Microcontroller 8051 and Arduino” 5th  to 7th October  2018 .This program is targeted to Electronics students with some knowledge on Embedded Systems Concepts and Microcontrollers. This course is based on the Arduino Nano board and its implementation using Arduino IDE.

The basic objective of the program is

• To gain the Hands-on workshop
• To improve the Ideas on ES projects
• To enhance Employ ability Skills

Day 1:Embedded Systems

An embedded system is some combination of computer hardware and software, either fixed in capability or programmable, that is designed for a specific function or for specific functions within a larger system. Industrial machines, agricultural and process industry devices, automobiles, medical equipment, cameras, household appliances, airplanes, vending machines and toys as well as mobile devices are all possible locations for an embedded system.” On first day few programs were implemented with the Keil software like LED display , Blinking of LEDs, Seven segment display etc


Day 2:Arduino

Arduino is an open source computer hardware and software company, project, and user community that designs and manufactures single-board microcontrollers and microcontroller kits for building digital devices and interactive objects that can sense and control objects in the physical world” On the second the following contents are discussed with hands on experience • Arduino Programming • Introduction to Digital Pins & Inputs- LED Based Projects. • Interfacing of switches with Arduino • LCD Based Projects • Motor Based Projects

Day 3:Sensor based projects

The third day provides better view on programming aspects of Arduino Microcontrollers. Students actively Participated in this session. The following Projects are implemented using Arduino
• Interfacing of sensors with Arduino- LDR,
• Interfacing of sensors with Arduino- Humidity sensor,
• Interfacing of sensors with Arduino- IR sensor,
• Interfacing of sensors with Arduino- Ultrasonic sensor
• Interfacing of RGB LED with Bluetooth

In one of the first instances and surprising visit ,the marketing team of VEERA BHOGA VASANTA RAYALU came to Puttaparthi to promote the movie which is releasing on Oct 26,2018 starring Nara Rohit Shriya Saran and Sudheer Babu in pivotal roles.

Veera Bhoga Vasanta Rayalu is believed to be the incarnation of  Lord Vishnu according to Veerabrahmendra Swamy the mystic prophet who predicted the future socio-political and economic situations of the world 400 years ago through his ‘Kalagnana’ i.e. knowledge of times which were written on palm leaves
 He has predicted that Lord Vishnu would come again as Lord Kalki/Lord Veera Bhoga Vasantha Raaya to restore dharma and peace on the earth. And devotees believe that he would rescue them whenever they plead him.


Talking about the movie, its director Indrasena R has  said, "The subject matter of the movie touches upon grey side of what is happening in the society. It's a non-linear crime thriller".

The team on the campus played the trailer and then conducted a quiz and fun games.Freebies in the form of T-shirts,caps and wall clocks were given to students who answered the questions.

Placement drive at SSE




Placement drives form an integral part of every college as it endows the opportunities to the students to get employment in the well-known and esteemed organizations. 
This is the first time for  Sanskrithi School of Engineering as its first batch of students (2015-19) will graduate  from the portals of the college.




The atmosphere on the morning  of Sept 26 was one filled with excitement and anticipation as the students got ready to attend their first ever campus recruitment interview conducted by Armentum,Bangalore.

PLACEMENT DRIVE @ SSE

The recruitment team  arrived at the campus at 10 A.M. They gave a brief presentation of the company,its work beliefs and the requirements of the job












Following the pre-placement talk,students sat through an online exam comprising of 4 sections:

  1. English language
  2. Logical test
  3. Analytics
  4. Technical knowledge


.

Students who had scored well in the online exam were then screened and interviewed by the HR Department. Out of the 26  interviewed by HR Dept, 14 students were shortlisted who will ready to join the company in 2019.

NSS Day celebrated at SGI

NSS  Day celebrated by SGI

The NSS state day was celebrated by Sanskrithi group of Institutions on Sept 24,2018.
The event was based on the theme "Youth for the Nation",wherein as a part of the initiative,the students of the MBA and Engineering college headed to Beedupalli village which has been adopted in 2014 as a contribution to  Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojna  ,village development scheme launched by the Prime Minister.


Activities by  SGI  NSS on NSS day,Sept 24,2018


The NSS unit of SGI has been one of the most active and forthcoming group consisting of student and faculty who are ever ready to take on and undertake any activity on and off the campus.
Keeping true to the motto of NSS : ‘NOT Me But You’ NSS SGI unit work wholeheartedly and selflessly.
The students undertook to cleaning and garbage disposal at the Beedupalli village.They also did a door to door campaigning on the importance of cleanliness.Posters were made by the students on this issue. 





  The SGI NSS unit  having established their trust among the villagers through various activities based on the socio-economic development of the village like sanitation, health awareness,medical camps,blood donation drives,supporting education,mother-child welfare and other schemes.


As American industrialist Henry Ford said, “Coming together is beginning, being together is progress and working together is success.”
